Sonia Rykiel is a French fashion designer, who founded her namesake label "Sonia", in May 1998. She opened her first boutique on the Rue de Grenelle, on the left bank of the Seine in Paris. She specialises in funky designs that can show off a woman's personality and va va voom! Her style is unique, and her trademarks include bright colours, black, rhinestone embellishments, stripes, lace and T-Shirts emblazoned with a written message.
