Pinko is an Italian designer fashion label brand that was created in the late 80's by Pietro Negra and Christina Rubini. It now has 800 points of sale - 455 within Italy and 345 outside of Italy. Pinko is a young, fun company which allows its aficionados to dress for feminity and style. Although it is a fun, feminine and trendy brand, the clothes are of a high quality with attention paid to detail at every stage in their creation. Pinko clothes are easy to wear and transitional from morning through to evening. It's this effortless style that has made the Pinko a brand favourite of chic working women.
The Pinko brand specialises in dresses, (it has some really cute and funky mini dresses in its range - if you're a size 12, click the fuschia mini dress above and you will pleasantly surprised about the price, which is now reduced by 60%), jumpers, mini skirts, tops, blouses, trousers, jeans, jackets and accessories including belts.
Pinko is a popular brand with celebrities and Mariah Carey, Eva Herzigova, Paris Hilton, Naomi Campbell and Elle Macpherson are known to support and patronise the brand.
JulesB, who have an amazing range of Pinko dresses, jumpsuits, trousers and jackets. There are reductions of up to 75% on many of the items, including a particularly sexy gold lamé dress which I am about to buy. JulesB are based in the UK but deliver worldwide.
DesignerDesirables have some Pinko dresses, tops and skirts online. The tulle dress pictured on the left is currently available from this company, who offer worldwide shipping. (Note: on the website you need to select the colour of the dress before you can select the size - even if there is only one colour - if you don't select a colour, you can't select a size and can't proceed with the purchase).
Another online shop where you can buy Pinko with worldwide delivery is Yoox, which offers this season's (AW 2010) and last season's (AW 2010) fashions. Yoox currently have the gold mini dress (pictured above right) on their site available for purchase (this season, Spring Summer 2009), but they only have the size 10 left at the time of writing. Not to worry though, they have loads more styles if you click through and have a look. Last season's styles are, of course, at reduced prices - sometimes there is as much as an 80% discount on the RRP.
In the UK, try Harvey Nichols and Harrods. If you live in London, you can visit the Pinko Boutiques on 161 Brompton Road, SW3 1QV and on 9 Kings Road, Knightsbridge, SW3 1QU.
